I had been trying to rsync my hosting accouts forever from my Godaddy. This may not be possible but it turns out that an scp command is. Scp is “secure copy.”
To do this from your Godaddy account you wi need the following:
1. Your admin username and password
2. Get your Absolute hosting path from the control panel.
3. A destination folder
Mac users and Linux users are already familiar with scp. Windows users will need one of the putty aplications or WinSCP to do this. The syntax is as follows:
